Description
It's not very often we stumble upon such a nice variation of early model Datejust. We decided to leave it unpolished but one can be arranged after purchase. Based on the serial number we date the watch back to 1974 which is an anniversary year this year. Offered as a watch only in addition to our 12-month warranty.
The Rolex Datejust, model 1603, features a 36mm stainless steel case, engine-turned bezel, black dial with baton hour markers, date aperture at 3 o'clock and a plexiglass.
The automatic movement, caliber 1570, provides this timepiece with a maximum power reserve of up to 40 hours. Due to the watches age we would not suggets being used in water.
The Rolex Datejust is fitted to a generic black leather strap.
A really lovely example of an early dark dial Rolex Datejust, and as it was made in 1974 a great gift for a 40th or 50th birthday!
