Description
Pair of famille rose vases, Qianlong (1736-95), of baluster form and moulded ogee-form cross-section, decorated in overglaze polychrome enamels with branches of flowering peony and small yellow flowers, the flared rims with stylised pomegranate and ruyi-head bands containing foliate scroll with flowerheads including lotus against a pink ground, the footrims with foliate cartouches against a pink diaper ground.

Small frits to rim, one with chip to rim, the other with two small chips, short glaze crack to rim
