Description
Chinese imari silver-metal mounted mustard pot and cover, 18th century, of globular form, decorated in underglaze blue and iron-red enamels, the body with large heads of peony amongst sprouting leaves, chrysanthemum and seed-pods, with a band of stiff leaves to the waisted foot and further flowerheads and foliage to the foot and lid.
Condition: Tiny glaze spot to lid, otherwise good but condition under mounts unknown
