Description
Pair of Chinese blue and white ribbed goblets, Kangxi (1662-1722), with gently flaring rims painted with bands of stylised leaf and flower design, the ribbed bodies with large peony heads emerging from long grass, the knopped stems with two bands of stiff leaves and the raised feet with further stylised leaf and flower pattern.
Dimensions:
Height: 14.4cm. (5 5/8in.) and 15cm. (5 3.8in.)
Condition:
One cup with frits to underside of foot, the other broken in four pieces and restuck
