Omega Geneve from the 1970's, lots to compare against you might say! We have had lots of these pass through our hands, so what makes this one so special?
This Omega Geneve 131.25016 was first sold in 1971 having been produced in 1970 (as per the serial number). We know it was first sold in November 1971 as it comes complete with its original Omega Warranty papers and manual. It does however get better than that, complete also with original box and 3 sets of service documents from 1992, 2002 and 2008.
A truly wonderful example of a classic vintage Omega, better still it runs in exceptional order. +/- around 20 seconds per day with an amplitude of 245. You would struggle to get any better from a watch such as this from over 50 years ago.
34mm yellow gold case and matching original crown. The dial is a silvered coloured that remains in excellent condition with barely a mark on it. Gold coloured hands with the date window at 3.
Fitted to a generic Hirsh black leather strap and gold coloured buckle.
Our View - A fine collectors example in exceptional working order.
