Description
What an absolutely stunning watch, thought to hark back from the 1940's (hard to be certain with Movado Serial Numbers) this rose gold triple date calendar 4823 is very special. 18ct Rose Gold case along with those matching 18ct bull horn lugs.
Its a decent size for the age being a 34mm case. Operating from a 475 manual wind movement the watch is in fine working order for a watch of this age. Condition wise its quite remarkable clearly signs of general wear and tear but nothing significant.
The dial has aged beautifully retaining lots of its original characteristics.
Seconds counter to the outside of the dial with a red sweeping hand, the day of the month shown next in black followed by the time with Arabic even hour markers. Day and Month shown in windows to the left and right of the centre.
