German stoneware tankard, circa 1700, with pewter lid, of cylindrical form with strap handle, decorated in blue and manganese, the central section with small applied flowerheads between bands of applied diamond relief to the rim and foot, the neck with further decorative bands; the pewter lid with globular thumbpiece

Condition:
Starcrack to base and small hairline to side of body (only visible from inside); small chips to relief
