Description
Chinese wucai baluster vase, Shunzi, (1644-1661), the body decorated with three dignitaries holding scrolls each with and attendant in a rocky landscape, with scrolling clouds and pine issuing from rockwork, a band of ‘blue ice’ to the shoulders and flowers amid rockwork to the neck and a spray of flowering peony to the rim, , condition: two neatly consolidated haircracks extending from the rim, one with an associated chip, all restored to a high standard [Provenance - The owner and her family lived in Singapore in the late 1950s.]
