Description
Chinese famille rose teabowl and saucer, Yongzheng (1723-35), with gently barbed rims, decorated with alternating panels of peony and landscapes with pine trees and rockwork, all contained within bands of scrolling pink ground; the interior of the teabowl with a band of geometric zig-zag pattern to the rim and central floral spray, the saucer with a central roundel containing peonies, seedpods and foliage, the reverse with three lingzhi in iron red.
