Description
Chinese famille rose teabowl and saucer, Yongzheng (1723-35), the saucer with a central roundel containing lotus blooms, the saucer and teabowl exterior decorated with three ogee-shaped panels containing peony, all against a scrolling foliate ground with peony heads and small florets with a band of pink floral cell.
Diameter of saucer: 10.4cm. (4 1/16in.); height of teabowl: 3.8cm. (1 3/8in.)
Condition: Small chip to underside of saucer; minute frits to rim of teabowl
