Chinese famille rose dish, Qianlong (1736-1795), decorated in overglaze enamels to the centre with brightly coloured carp swimming amongst aquatic plants, the rim with four floral arrangements including peony, magnolia and chrysanthemum, all within a narrow band in underglaze cobalt blue
