Description
Chinese blue and white moulded plate, Kangxi (1662-1722), with gentle scalloped rim, the central decagonal section containing a 'Long Eliza' holding a lotus while seated at a table with rockwork and leafy plantain, a lotus jardiniere set upon a table beside her, the wide rim with ten alternating panels containing flowering shrubs and further 'Long Eliza' figures in a fenced garden, the reverse with a continuous floral scroll and 'yu' mark within a double circle to the base.

Notes:
