Chinese blue and white European market plate, Kangxi (1662-1722), decorated in the centre with a monogram above a laurel wreath and a love knot above, the border with a garland of fruiting passion flower, the reverse with two floral sprays to the rim and a central artemisia leaf within concentric circles
