Description

Chinese blue and white dish, Kangxi (1662-1722), decorated with large stylised lotus flowerheads and leaves against a scrolling foliate ground, all within a single narrow band to the rim; the reverse with four beribboned babao including a pearl, a solid lozenge (mirror) and a musical jade stone (gong), the base with a single artemisia leaf within double circle and double footrim.
