A bronze figure of Omphale.
French, late 17th - early 18th century.
Measures 24.5cm high.
Omphale can be seen wearing the lion skin robe of Hercules, one hand placed upon her hip and the other supporting herself on the hero’s club. A bow rests at her feet on the integrally cast base.
