Description
Excellent saturation of colour and dynamic light refraction (without enhancement). A superb Sapphire and Diamond Round Swirl Brooch with Baltic marks (plausibly St Petersburg ), in Gold (marked 56), centrally raised claw-set with a fine cushion-cut Sapphire of 1.80 carats, Natural Untreated and of Basaltic Origin with no Indication of Heat Treatment observed, outlined by a triple Foliate Swirl containing numerous Old & Rose-cut Diamonds assessed by ourselves as being of approximately 3.50 carats in total.
Accompanied by an Independent Gemmologist's Report confirming the Sapphire's assessment.
Please note that untreated Sapphires are scarce.
