Description

Circular, of European silver form with scalloped edges, the interior of the bowl moulded with spiral panels each containing a flowerhead, alternate dandelion pompoms and dahlia heads, each on a straight stem with small stiffened leaves, the centre painted with a blossom on a leafy stem within double blue concentric rings, the exterior of the bowl painted with sketchily drawn bamboo sprays above a knopped band with curl work between two bands of double blue concentric rings, the stepped splayed foot decorated with six panels of flower sprays above a further double band of concentric rings, the base glazed.
