Pleased to present here the Zenith Cairelli Tipo CP-2, a cool and under the radar tool watch.
This model was designed in the 1960s for the Italian Air Force AMI. Around 2500 pieces were made of which 2000 were issued with individual numbers on the casebacks. This is one of those issued pieces.
Nice and legible dial with large numerals and a faded ghost bezel. The wear across the bezel is even with no major dings.
The 43mm stainless steel case is in good honest condition. The crown is a Zenith service crown.
Inside beats the Zenith calibre 146 DP manually winding movement.
It has been thoroughly inspected by our watchmaker, is fully functioning and keeping good time.
To give collectors peace of mind we provide a 1 year mechanical warranty.
