Description
An antique amber and gold bracelet, with large amber beads, with gold discs either side, decorated with Etruscan style wirework, with single oval gold links, in a Richard A. Green fitted case, with gold M. A. S. initials, in gothic script, circa 1875.
Condition: Good, with some crazing to the amber
Approximate Weight: 70.30 grams
Richard Angell Green traded from 82 Strand, WC. He was elected as a member of the Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufacturers and Commerce in 1859. His address appears in the 1862 Post Office directory. He applied for a patent for the design or production of earrings, on 31st December, 1870. He sold jewellery of classical design.
