Description
An early 19th Century English rack lever in a silver open face case. Full plate gilt keywind fusee movement with gilt dust cover. Harrison's maintaining power. Plain gilt cock inscribed “Patent Lever”, diamond endstone. Blue steel Bosley regulator, plain three arm steel balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Rack lever escapement, the lever pivots in adjustable slides. White enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel seconds hand, gold hands. Plain silver open face case with ribbed middle., maker's mark “I.W” in an oval.
