Description
Pair of Chinese octagonal famille rose dishes, Yongzheng (1723-35), each decorated in overglaze enamels to the central roundels with a duck standing on a large leaf amongst flowering peony and chrysanthemum, the wide rims with pomegranate-shaped cartouches containing lotus petals, small white flowerheads and cell or scrolling grounds in iron red, against alternating pink and turquoise diaper grounds; the reverse with four lingzhi.
