We hear it everyday the classic ‘find me another one', well this is one of those!

This Omega Seamaster reference 166.0251, this one is super rare due to the silver dial (most had black dials), it’s fitted to its original bracelet (few survived), accompanied by an official extract from the Omega Archive (new issues of these have been paused) and presented in its original box.

Known as the 'Baby Proplof' as it has the same hands as the 'Proplof'. 39mm stainless steel case that is barrel shaped. Silver dial, bakerlite black rotating bezel, luminous hour markers and big bold orange second hand. Mineral crystal.

This beautiful Seamaster was produced with only the Japanese market in mind, the silver dial version always was and the Omega Achieve confirms it to be produced in 1980 and delivered to Japan that same year. It also confirms for us that it started life with the silver dial.

Its got marks and scratches consistent with its age but for us that is all part of the beauty, could be polished upon request however we have left as is.

Original bracelet that would fit a wrist to 7.5cm comfortably, 7.75cm at a push.

This automatic watch operates from a Cal 1010 which is fine working order giving a reading of around+/- 8 seconds per day.

Our View - An opportunity to own a rare watch that is surely one to hold for the future. A wonderful original example that is compliment nicely by the original box and Achieve record.
