This Movado is possibly 1 of 1, this oversized Movado should be taken for what it is, which is a bit of fun. Signed Movado throughout we believe this manual wind watch to be dated to around the 1960's having later had a redial (of high quality).
The redial has a 'California' style which as you can see is half Roman and half Arabic numerals used by many watch brands over the years. Black dial with hour markers that have naturally discoloured to a creamy yellow colour. Silvered hands with aged luminous infill.
Oversized steel case measuring 42mm, this Movado was possibly created with the South American market in mind as was the demand for oversized watches in that area back then.
Working fine at +20 seconds or so per day we have run the watch through the workshop and replaced the glass.
Fitted to a black leather strap.
