Description
A slim early 19th Century French cylinder with digital hours in a gold and champleve enamel open face case. Keywind gilt Lepine calibre movement with suspended going barrel. Plain cock with blue steel regulator, plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Polished steel cylinder, steel escape wheel. Unusual engine turned silver dial with subsidiary seconds, offset minutes and an aperture above displaying the hours in Arabic numerals, gold minute hand, blue steel seconds hand. Slim gold and restored black champleve enamel open face case, wound and set through the signed gold cuvette.
