Description
Fine large Chinese famille verte baluster vase, Kangxi (1662-1722), decorated in bright famille verte enamels, the body with four large panels containing baskets of flowers, against a liewen ground with writhing blue dragons, all above a large band to the foot divided into alternate panels decorated with mythical beasts and birds and branches, the neck with a band of scrolling chrysanthemum and peony heads.

Condition: This jar has been in pieces but has been restored to a very high standard.
