Description
Chinese miniature blanc de chine figure, Kangxi (1662-1722), of a Dutch rider on horseback carrying a vessel, his right hand raised. Condition: some damage. The rider’s Western tricorn hat would have been moulded separately and attached with a small amount of slip before firing, as hats usually were.
