Description
Chinese imari plate, Qianlong (1736-95), decorated with flowering prunus and bamboo issuing from rockwork, with large stylised flowerheads with alternating blue and iron-red diaper petals, the top of the plate with a blue scroll and the rim with a blue ring and gilt edge, the reverse with three boughs of prunus.
