Description
Chinese blue and white plate, Kangxi (1662-1722), decorated to the centre with a pavilion fenced garden scene, with two scholar officials conversing while a young boy runs around the corner of the building brandishing a stick, amongst rockwork and foliage; the rim with six lobed cartouches containing peaches, against a diaper lattice ground, the reverse with two rocky islets to the rim and central Kangxi six-character mark within a double circle to the base
