Description
Chinese blue and white moulded teabowl and saucer, Kangxi (1662-1722), with gently scalloped rims, the teabowl decorated inside and out with swirling panels containing floral and fruiting boughs issuing from rockwork, the saucer rim with further panels of fruiting boughs, chrysanthemum, peony and forget-me-not around a central roundel containing a large peony head surrounded by fruit, flowers and leafy sprigs
