Description
Chinese blue and white kraak dish, Wanli (1573-1619), decorated to the central star-shaped roundel with an archaic tripod censer filled with scrolls, leaves and flowers, the wide rim with eight further panels containing fruits, flowers and precious symbols including artemisia leaves and scrolls divided by panels of dots and sauvastika pattern, the reverse with eight circles containing small flowers, divided by ruyi-shaped sceptres.

Condition: Consolidated hairline to rim and piece out of rim broken in two and neatly repaired
