Description

Circular, of European silver form with scalloped edges, the interior of the bowl of the salt moulded with spiral panels each containing a flower, alternating between two types of flowers, each on a long stem with small leaves, the centre painted with a blossom on a leafy stem within double blue lines, the exterior bowl painted with a further four panels of alternating single flower stems and stems baring two flower heads above a knopped band with curl work between two bands of double blue lines, the stepped splayed foot decorated with six panels of flower sprays above further double blue lines, the base glazed.
