Description
A pair of vintage earrings, consisting of two oval-shaped clusters, each centrally set with an oval, cabochon-cut ruby and surrounded by a further nine rubies, and twenty-four round brilliant-cut diamonds, claw set and mounted in 18ct yellow gold, with hinged clip fittings. Circa 1970. Accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services certificate 5785-1515, stating that the rubies are natural, with indication of heating, with the opinion of the origin as being Thailand or Cambodia.
The estimated total diamond weight is 2.90 carats.
Each principal central ruby weighs an estimated 3.60 carats.
