Florentine - was another of Paulding Farnham's complex designs which included Renaissance and Rococo elements. He started with the basic King's shape. The lower stem is framed by thin scroll ornaments with small leaves. The upper stem has successive rows of leaf ornaments in a pinnate form which evolve into successive scroll ornaments of decreasing size, flanking central leaf elements. The terminal is a mixture of old and new styles.
