This is a really good honest example of a classic Rolex Datejust from the late 60's / 70's, being from that era is a 1601 model that features a white gold fluted bezel.
Original folded link Rolex bracelet with fold clasp containing sufficient links to fit a wrist to 18cm. In our view the bracelet is in excellent condition for a watch of this age however it will of course show some age and wear. Perfectly usable and no defects.
The case is 36mm in size which would have been considered large then but now is commonly referred to as mid size. Silver dial with the date aperture to 3.
Silver dial and silvered baton hour markers to match the hands in many ways this was the iconic classic example of the Datejust. Automatic movement operating from a 1570 Calibre movement that has a power reserve of up to 40 hours.
We have left this watch as original as possible, there will be some minor marks, scratches and signs of wear however it's beauty for us is in its originality. The watch has passed through our workshop and watchmaker, is in exceptional working order and guarenteed to this effect.
