Description
Pair of Japanese imari dishes, 18th century, decorated in the centre with a jardinière containing flowers and formal fence on either side, the border with three rabbit cartouches against a ground of scrolling panels and cherry blossoms, diameter: 9 5/8in., 24.5cm; 9 1/2in., 24.1cm; condition: one with small chip to underside of rim and crackling to glaze, the other in good condition.
