This Oris Chronoris Star is a gem from back in the 70's and a wonderful watch to add to a collection, start a collection or a daily wearer!
Accompanied not only with that original Oris box (beautifully made) but also the original manual, unsigned guarantee and Swing Tag reading 3663/9 and costing just £19.90 back in the day.
38mm stainless steel case housing a manual wind 725 movement that ticks and works in excellent condition and order.
Black / dark blue dial with white hands and square hour markers along with orange seconds hand and the date window to 3.
Unlike many of the other similar models in the range this watch has a unique crown in the middle to rotate the internal white coloured bezel with the lower crown operating the watch and the top operating the stop watch.
Running at around +12 seconds per day with an amplitude of 333.
Condition - purposely left unpolished, shows obvious signs of wear as you would expect but nothing significant.
In our view - Certainly one of the more rare configurations of this iconic watch, with the box, papers and swing tag rarer still. Surely the value of this watch must go up over time?
