Description
An Italian diamond and gold necklace, comprising graduating, rectangular plaques, scalloped on the edges, set with a total of 252, round brilliant-cut diamonds, in grain settings, with spacer bars, with pointed ends, channel set with a total of 118, baguette-cut diamonds, mounted in 18ct yellow gold, stamped 750, with Italian maker's mark * 587 MI, for Lischetti, with a box clasp, circa 1990. The estimated total diamond weight is 24.00 to 25.00 carats.
Lischetti was established by Silvio Lischetti, on 26th February 1958, registered under the name Liscetti, di Lischetti, Silvio & C.. The business passed onto his son, Renato and has been a manufacturing jeweller since at least the time of registration, on 17th January, 1977. Lischetti was responsible for the manufacture of the “Cavallino” brooch, for Princess Caroline of Monaco.
