Description
A Georgian cross pattée, with a faceted, cushion shaped amethyst, set in the centre, with a cluster surround of natural half seed pearls, in cut down style settings, in a delicate, silver gilt and 15ct gold mount, of individual flowers, leaves, scrolls and granulation, with white, scalloped, chalcedony arms, forming the cross, with an open, wirework bail. The back is decorated with wirework on embossed plates and there is a locket, containing fine woven hair, 1790 to 1820.
