Chinese Canton Enamel Hors d'Oeuvre set, Qianlong (1736-95), consisting of a circular central dish and eight radiating side dishes with gently barbed outer rims, each decorated in polychrome enamels with warriors, noblemen and scholars in mountainous landscape and pavilion garden settings, with bands of foliate scroll beneath the metal rims.
