Description
A very fine 18 Carat Yellow Gold (tested) Oval Turquoise Cluster Ring; comprising of a Demi-Bombe lozenge design, surrounded by a Gold beaded relief and set throughout with numerous graduated natural Turquoise roundels. This unusual and delicate Dress Ring is surrounded by a very finely worked interlocking Serpentine, Gold Rope design which in turn, is supported, by a Double Reeded shank with split (open work) Gold shoulders.
Circa 1880
Because of its heavenly energy, Natural Turquoise, mostly from Persia (not to be confused with "French Block") is believed to provide protection from negativity but also a clear connection to the purity of natural elements, especially the elements of water and air.
